The Hitch Division of Andersen Manufacturing has taken this experience and expertise and applied it to the towing industry. We recognized a need for an easy, convenient way to tow a 5th wheel trailer, without having a cumbersome 5th wheel hitch cluttering up the truck bed and rendering it useless for anything else. The solution is the Universal Ranch Hitch Adapter. The Ranch Hitch Adapter easily converts the 5th wheel trailer to a 2 5/16" gooseneck ball, and introduced us to the hitch industry within the RV market.

Our most popular hitch product - The Rapid Hitch - was then developed. In an industry that has seen the same old thing for decades, the Rapid Hitch is still turning heads since its introduction in 2002. Simple to use and made from an aluminum super alloy, the Rapid Hitch has become Andersen Manufacturing's flag ship with thousands manufactured and sold each month. With the addition of Andersen's other ball mounts - the Alumistinger and many more innovative products anticipated for the future, Andersen Manufacturing anticipates continued growth and opportunity in the Hitch Division.
