Features
- Because of the flexible mounting options, you are able to mount the Pilot in any direction. The microprocessor allows you the ability to read the display even when the Pilot is mounted upside down.
- The Pilot's digital display shows voltage output to the brakes with additional protection against short circuit or loss of ground.
- Large easy to read dual digital display.
- For use on any 12 volt negative ground system.

Tekonsha
Tekonsha Engineering opened its doors in 1963 and at that time manufactured wooden steps for the Mobile Home Industry. In the mid 1960ís they started manufacturing hydraulic brake controls (2014 & 2015). When the 70ís came Tekonsha Engineering made a major break through, they were the first to break new ground with an electronic brake control (the sway control and the 2040). These units changed the company forever. They went on to manufacture the 2016 & 2017, which are hydraulic controls, and the 2030 & 2035, electronic controls.
In the early 90ís Tekonsha introduced the CommanderÆ and VoyagerÆ proportional electric brake controls. In 1993 they followed with the AccuTracô, an inertia sensitive control and in 1995 the SentinelÆ was introduced as a monitoring unit.
March of 1999 was exciting for TekonshaÆ with the launch of a new proportional control, the EnvoyÆ. This unit has the best features of the VoyagerÆ and the SentinelÆ combined in one unit. Tekonshaís newest self-leveling proportional control, the ProdigyÆ, made an exhilarating release into the industry in February of 2001. It is the latest and most intelligent brake control from TekonshaÆ. This powerful control features new motion sensor technology similar to what is used in the aerospace industry.
In January of 2003, Cequent purchased Tekonsha Engineering.
